Open house at German military sites 2025

On June 28th, 2025 the German MOD hosted the "Tag der Bundeswehr" (open house of the German MOD)

On the military site in Greding (besides other sites) a total of around 15,000 people attended, compared to 6000 when it was hosetd last time in 2017.

During this day, it was explicitely allowed to take pictures of what was accessible, so some colleagues of our team used the chance to get a peek of what we have been supporting in the past ~12 years and how it is made use of.

EMC chamber of the WTD81

The WTD81 is and was a main partner in the development of our 40 channel switch matrix receiver for our camera system. We want to explicitely thank the team in Greding for this amazing project.

Our camera dAV-Cr-HD with pan/tilt PT-03 as a fully mobile standalone version dAV-Rr-Joystick was on display. The pictures shows OSD features to be able to combine the live picture of our camera with rf parameters such as frequency, field strength and others together with date and time.

EMC camera

Together with a low cost non-EMC camera we are able to provide a full surveillance solution.

A few years ago, mk-messtechnik has replaced the existing lights by our new LE-LED150 technology which reduced the overall power consumption from around 30 kW to less than 5 kW with an even brighter illumination of the chamber.

The overall power savings can be calculated with about 250 kWh per day, with a 10 h use. We are proud that we have been able to support the "Energiewende" (energy revolution) with this great project.

Another highlight of the day was the live show of the "DUT"s, that most likely all have been inside that chamber at least once in their life cycle:

Tank Leopard 2

We would like to thank the team of teh WTD81 and the BMV for the organisation of this day and the opportunity to actually be able to take pictures of our products when finally installed!
