Examples of LVDS links with different chipsets:

  • POC and LOC network integration
  • Connection via HSD and COAX (other connection sockets via adapter boxes possible)

optoLVDS-DS913/914 with POC (power over connector) and LOC (load over connector)

Maxim chipsets:

  • MAX9275/76: optical link for GMSL signals with chipset MAX9275/76 datarate up to 3,12Gbps (oLDI interface) setting of options/registers by switches or USB-interface (internal µ-controller with Windows-application) 
  • MAX9259/60: optical link for CML signals with chipset MAX9259/60 datarate (video) up to 2.5 GBit/s, bidirectional control channel, setting of options/registers by switches or USB-interface (internal µ-controller with Windows-application)
  • MAX9247/48: optical link for single channel LVDS signals with chipset MAX9247/48 datarate up to 1.5 GBit/s (direct), CLK-rate 2,5-42 MHz

 

Texas Instruments/National chipsets:

  • DS90UR905/906: optical link for LVDS signals with chipset DS90UR905/906 for data rates up to 1,5Gbit/s (direct mode), PCLK 5-65MHz
  • DS90UR905/916: optical link for LVDS signals with chipset DS90UR905/916 for data rates up to 1,82Gbit/s (direct mode), PCLK 5-65MHz
  • DS90UR907/916: optical link for LVDS signals with chipset DS90UR907/916 for data rates up to 1,82Gbit/s (direct mode), PCLK 5-65MHz
  • DS90UB913/914: optical link for LVDS signals with chipset DS90UB913/914 integrated bidirectional control channel, setting of options/registers by switches / USB-interface (internal µ-controller with Windows application)
  • DS90UB925/926: optical link for LVDS signals with chipset DS90UB925/926 (Non-HDCP!); datarate (video) up to 2,5GB/s bidirectional control channel, setting of options/registers by switches / USB-interface (internal µ-controller with Windows application)
  • DS90UB927/928: optical link for LVDS signals with chipset DS90UB927/928 (Non-HDCP!); datarate (video) up to 2,5GB/s bidirectional control channel, setting of options/registers by switches / USB-interface (internal µ-controller with Windows application), downwards compatible to DSUB925/926 chipset
  • DS90UB947/948: optical link for LVDS signals with chipset DS90UB947/948 (Non-HDCP!); datarate (video) up to 2x 3GB/s, bidirectional control channel, setting of options/registers by switches / USB-interface (internal µ-controller with Windows application).

 

APIX2/APIX3-Chipsätze:

  • INAP375T/R:: optical link for APIX2 signals with INAP375T/R (Non-HDCP); downstream datarate (video + sideband) up to 3 GB/s, upstream datarate up to 187,5 Mbit/s, control interfaces (ethernet, spi, i2c, i2s gpio), setting of options/registers by USB-interface (internal u-controller with Windows application)
  • INAP562T/R: optical link for APIX3 signals with INAP562T/R (Non-HDCP); downstream datarate (video + sideband) up to 2 x 6 GB/s, upstream datarate up to 187,5 Mbit/s, control interfaces (ethernet, spi, i2c, i2s gpio), setting of options/registers by USB-interface (internal u-controller with Windows application)
