The combiner module opens up a whole new class of supervision tasks by offering the possibilty to combine the outputs of the ROIs into derived output values. Just like the processing pipelines, the combiner is very flexible and can be defined by connecting different blocks in a graphical UI. There are blocks for logical operations (AND, OR, ...), arithmetic (sum, magnitude, negation, ...), comparison and timing.
