mk-motion licence #8 - OCR (= optical text recognition)
Extends the motion detection software with the ability to recognise text in the video image. The recognised texts can then be evaluated. With this option, mk-motion is able to detect texts and generate an error in case of a mismatch (one or max. 2 single line ROIs possible (high CPU power consumption)
Due to the high CPU load, recognition is limited to two single-line texts. Provides the following two pipeline modules:
- Text recognition - recognises single-line texts in the image
- Word List - Matches recognised texts with a list of texts
Requires the pro extensions (licence #6).
mk-motion licence #9 - OCR numerics (number recognition)
With this licence, mk-motion is able to evaluate numbers and and generate an error in case of leaving a predefinable numbers range. The number recognition is a carefully tailored text recognition for numbers. Once a number has been detected, it can be further processed in a ROI processing pipeling just like any other numeric value (filtering, thresholding, etc.). We took great effort to train the number recognition with real-world examples in technical fields, such as segmented displays (7-segment, 14-segment displays) and dot-matrix displays as well as standard fonts for a reliable detection.
Extends the text recognition so that a numerical value is generated. This can then be analysed as usual with other modules (e.g. threshold value, tolerance band). Complements the following pipeline module:
- Text-to-numeric converter - Converts a text into a numeric value.
Requires the text recognition module.
