optoCAN-HS-D

The optoCAN-HS-D system can be used for the optical transmission of high-speed CAN-HS signals at data rates of up to 1 Mbit/s. Due to the special design of one of the devices (optoCAN-HS-D), the maximum length of the optical fiber used can be increased by approximately 14 m compared to the standard optoCAN-FD version (depending on the setup).

The two transceivers are powered by an integrated rechargeable battery and connected via an optical fiber. Due to the optical transmission and the shielded housing, the system is very well suited for transmitting signals during immunity and emission tests.
