Many of our devices can are available as 19" rack mount versions with 2HE. With this, the counterpart of the mobile device can be integrated into a 19“ rack in the control room and no battery has to be charged.
Different types of channels can be combined in the 19" base unit, starting from analog transmitters to CAN and LIN, as well as LAN-TX and automotive Ethernet T1.
Depending on the interface, up to 13 channels can be integrated into the base unit.
Analog signals / transmission
On this photo, 8x U2/12-1M are integrated into a 19" base unit, together with an optoTTL with 16 channels and SUB-D connectors.
For the analog links it is important to know that with unidirectional devices, transmitter and receiver can not be swapped, as the 19" side is installed fix in the 19" rack in the control room. Therefore it has to be checked before the order, if the signal has to be transmitted from the EMC chamber to the outside, into the control room, or if it has to be transmitted from the control room into the EMC chamber.
